This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to sanction the II

Life Award Freedom Fighter Family Pension in favour of the petitioner, based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2024.

2.The petitioner is the son of the Freedom Fighter. He claims that he is

eligible to receive pension, after the death of his mother. The petitioner had given a representation on 22.11.2024 to the respondent for the aforesaid

purpose. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.K.Surender, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's representation is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2024 seeking for grant of II Life Award Freedom Fighter Family Pension in respect of his father, who the petitioner claims that he was a freedom fighter, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
