This application has been filed to re-open the Contempt Petition in Cont.P.No.2045 of 2025 which was closed on 22.09.2025.

2.The Contempt Petition has been filed alleging disobedience of the orders of this Court in W.P.No.29636 of 2025, dated 12.12.2023, wherein, this Court had directed the 3^rd respondent/Tahsildar to consider the representation, if any, made by the petitioner for issuance of patta and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice and giving opportunity to the petitioners, 6^th respondent in the writ petition, and other interested parties/rival claimants, if any, as the case may be.

3.When the Contempt Petition was heard by this Court on 22.09.2025, it was stated by the learned Special Government Pleader that, pursuant to the orders of this Court, orders have been passed in Proceedings No.Pa.Mu.Aa.1/376/2024, dated 20.08.2025. Therefore, recording compliance, the Contempt Petition was closed.

4.However, now, the petitioners (parties-in-person) have come forward with this application seeking re-open of the Contempt Petition on the ground that the said proceedings is not in their favour and their representation has been rejected. A copy of the proceedings dated 20.08.2025 is also produced before this Court. It is made clear that, if the petitioners are aggrieved by the proceedings, it is for them to challenge the same or work out their remedy in the

manner known to law. Insofar as the Contempt Petition is concerned, since the orders of this Court in W.P.No.29636 of 2025, dated 12.12.2023 have been

complied with, this Court finds no necessity to re-open the Contempt Petition.
