This contempt petition has been filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeking to punish the respondent herein for having willfully disobeyed the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.20551 of 2024, dated 26.07.2024 and pass such further or other orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that pursuant to the order of this court dated 26.07.2024,

the application of the petitioner dated 23.10.2017 has been considered and an order dated 27.01.2026 has been passed rejecting the request of the petitioner. The learned counsel appearing for the contempt petitioner has also not disputed the order passed by the respondent. The submissions made by both sides have been recorded. It is for the contempt petitioner to take appropriate legal course challenging the aforesaid order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law. The contempt petition is closed accordingly. No costs.
