This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to produce the body of the petitioner's father and to set him at liberty.

Heard Mr.R.Jothiraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The case of the petitioner is that his father, who is aged about 88 years, went missing since 02.03.2025. Thereafter, a complaint was given before the respondent Police, based on which, a man missing FIR was registered in Crime No.58 of 2025. Since there was no progress in investigation, the present petition has been filed before this Court.
