This Civil Revision Petition (CRP) has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of HMOP.No.34 of 2024 pending on the file of Sub-Court, Polur, Thiruvannamalai.

The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is his wife. The

petitioner filed the aforesaid HMOP seeking for dissolution of his marriage with

the respondent. The case is posed for cross-examination of PW1 on 06.08.2026. According to the petitioner, repeated adjournments are being given by the Family Court, and therefore, there is a delay in the disposal of the aforesaid HMOP.

No prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the Sub-Court, Polur, Thiruvannamalai, to dispose of the aforesaid HMOP within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of by directing the Sub-Court, Polur, Thiruvannamalai, to dispose of HMOP.No.34 of 2024 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent in this CRP is dispensed with. No Costs.
