This Civil Revision Petition (CRP) has been filed seeking for a limited

relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of RTA No.6 of 2025 pending on

the file of Rent Tribunal/Additional District Judge-I, Coimbatore.

The petitioner is the landlord and the respondent is the tenant.

Aggrieved by the order passed by the Rent Court ordering for eviction, the respondent/tenant preferred an appeal before the Rent Tribunal/Additional

District Judge-I, Coimbatore, in RTA No.6 of 2025. According to the petitioner, eventhough RTA No.6 of 2025 was filed as early as on 25.06.2025, till date, the said appeal has not been disposed of. He also drew the attention of this Court to Section 38(2) of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, and would submit that as per the said section, within a period of 3 months, the aforesaid appeal ought to have been disposed of. Therefore, the petitioner seeks for early disposal of RTA.No.6 of 2025 through this CRP.

No prejudice will be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the Rent Tribunal/Additional District Judge-I, Coimbatore, to dispose of RTA.No.6 of 2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of by directing the Rent Tribunal/Additional District Judge-I, Coimbatore, to dispose of RTA.No.6 of 2025 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent in this CRP is dispensed with. No Costs.
