2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other

accused was found to be in illegal possession of 7.900 kgs of ganja. Hence, the complaint.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this is the second anticipatory bail. He further submitted that the petitioner has no connection with the alleged offence and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the co-accused have already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.OP.No.31297 of 2024 dated 19312.2024. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) strongly opposed the application and submitted that the case involves narcotic substances and that the petitioner was found in possession of 7.900 kgs of ganja. He further submitted that the petitioner has two previous cases similar in nature pending against him. He further submitted that if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, it may embolden him to indulge in similar activities.

I have given anxious consideration to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also perused the records available.

this Court is of the view that the petitioner has two previous cases, which

offences. Taking into consideration the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner, this Court is of the firm view that the petitioner does not deserve the grant of anticipatory bail. If anticipatory bail is granted, it would jeopardize the prosecution case.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
