This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking modification

of the condition imposed upon the petitioner in Paragraph 7(i) in Crl.OP.No.7389 of 2026 dated 08.04.2026 that “the petitioners are ordered to be enlarged on bail on condition that the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten lakhs only) totally to the credit of Cr.No.105 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as per the order dated 08.04.2026 in Crl.OP.No.7389 of 2026, the petitioners have deposited the sum of Rs.1,00,000/- towards the account of Cancer Institute (WIA), Adayar on 20.04.2026 and executed separate bonds for a sum of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties each before the learned Special CCB Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai on 04.05.2026. He further submitted that after execution of sureties, the petitioners have approached the respondent to sign for two weeks as per the order dated 08.04.2026, but the respondent insisted to deposit a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to the credit of Cr.No.105 of 2024. He further submitted that the

petitioners gave letter dated 08.05.2026 by seeking permission to sign as per the order dated 08.04.2026 and having received the same, the petitioners were permitted to sign from 11.05.2026. In the meanwhile, the petitioners have lost

their job and hence the petitioners are having difficulty to mobilize the funds and hence unable to comply the conditional order imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for modification of the said condition.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reiterated the

prosecution case and submitted that the Petitioners has unable to comply the conditional order of this Court. Hence, he opposed to allow this petition.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on records.

5. Considering the proclivity of the matter, this Court does not find any

reason to modify the condition.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
