Considering the fact that the petitioner/accused is in custody and it will take sometime to engage a counsel for preparing/arguing the appeal, this Court is satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit for condoning the delay. Accordingly, the delay is condoned and the petition stands ordered. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same for admission.
