Vijayaragava against six officials — the District Collector/Monitory Committee, Theni; the Assistant Director (Village Panchayat), Theni; the Tahsildhar, Periyakulam Taluk; the Block Development Officer (Village Panchayat), Periyakulam; the President, Lakshmipuram Panchayat; and the Village Administrative Officer, Thamaraikulam — for alleged wilful disobedience of the order in WP(MD)No.15486 of 2025 dated 04.08.2025. The Court took note that against that writ order the seventh respondent therein had preferred Special Leave to Appeal No.23642/2025, which the Hon'ble Supreme Court dismissed by order dated 25.08.2025 while granting liberty to the petitioner therein to seek recall of the order or to seek review. Alleging disobedience of the order of this Court in WP(MD)No.15486 of 2025, dated 04.08.2025, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

It is now brought to the notice of this Court that as against the abovesaid order of this Court, SLP has been filed by the 7^th respondent in the writ petition vide Special Leave to Appeal No.23642/2025, wherein by order dated 25.08.2025, the Hon'ble Supreme Court while dismissing the SLP,

granted liberty to the petitioner therein to seek recall of the order or to seek

review the same.

In view of the same, the contempt does not arise. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.
