This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 11.11.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.42561 of 2025 , thereby directing the respondent to pass orders on the request made by the petitioner, if otherwise the petitioner is eligible for retirement under the voluntarily retirement scheme, within a period of four weeks.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondent considered the request made by the petitioner and passed order by the proceedings dated 07.01.2026, thereby rejecting the petitioner’s request. He also produced a copy of the order dated 07.01.2026 before this Court.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition

stands closed. If any grievance over the order passed by the respondent, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law, if so advised.
