Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 to 6 from passing orders of closure of the 8^th respondent school without complying with the norms prescribed under Section 29 of the Tamil nadu Private Schools Regulation Act, 2018 and the Rule 16 of the Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 2023 and to appoint a Special Officer to run the 8^th respondent school continuously in the interest of students including petitioner's children.

The writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 to 6 from passing orders of closure of the 8^th respondent school without complying with the norms prescribed under Section 29 of the Tamil nadu Private Schools Regulation Act, 2018 and the Rule 16 of the Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Rules, 2023 and to appoint a Special Officer to run the 8^th respondent school continuously in the interest of students including petitioner's children.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 6, on written instructions, would submit that earlier a request had been made by the school, for which, the authority had sent a communication dated 28.01.2025 raising certain queries, which queries have not been answered till date. He further would submit that he has received some instructions from the District Educational Officer, (private schools), Tirunelveli, which reads as follows:

A reading of this communication clearly indicates that the closure of the 8^th respondent school would be done only by following the Rules and therefore, the relief claimed has been conceded by the respondent. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
