PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2^nd respondent herein to survey the property comprised in Thoothukudi District, Ettayapuram Taluk, Ettayapuram Revenue Village, Patta No.4312, Survey Number 633/10 measuring 0-55.50 Hectares owned by the petitioner and demarcate the boundaries, and pass such further or other orders as this Court.

By relying on settlement deed dated 29.08.2024 and patta No.4312, the petitioner had applied for survey of the land in Survey No.633/10. Because the said request was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be acted upon within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.In view of the above submissions of learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to act on the petitioner's request for survey and complete the entire exercise within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after putting the relevant adjacent land owners on notice. No costs.
