By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks cancellation of Patta No.

1744 and for the issuance of a joint patta instead of such cancelled patta.

According to the petitioner, his brother Nagarajan obtained the impugned patta fraudulently and that, therefore, the same is liable to be cancelled.

Learned Special Government Pleader has placed on record the inquiry notice for the inquiry scheduled on 23.09.2025 in relation to the petitioner's request for cancellation. He further submits that the inquiry would be concluded and a decision taken within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
