The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to survey his property comprised in S.F.Nos. 639/3, 405/1F, and 405/1G3, situated at Therikudieruppu, Kayamozhi Village, Thiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Sounderrajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

According to the petitioner, the subject property was originally enjoyed by his father. After his father’s demise, the properties in S.F.Nos. 639/3 and 405/1F were sold in favour of the petitioner by the other legal

heirs of his father on 05.12.2024. The revenue records for the properties in S.F.Nos. 405/1F and 405/1G3 stand in the name of the petitioner’s father, Ramalinga Nadar. The petitioner submitted applications before the respondents on 10.06.2025 and 14.07.2025 seeking survey of the property. However, the same have not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submitted that the petitioner has not filed a proper online application in respect of the property situated in S.F. No. 405/1G3, and that, with regard to the other two survey field numbers, the petitioner had submitted an application on 10.06.2025 and the same will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the petitioner is directed to produce the acknowledgement before the first respondent for having submitted an application seeking survey of the land in S.F.No.405/1G3 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such production, the respondents 1 and 2 shall consider the petitioner’s applications and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring landowners, and other interested parties. In case the petitioner failed to produce the acknowledgement within

the time stipulated, the applications of the petitioner for other S.F.Nos. 639/3 and 405/1F shall be considered on its own merits and final orders shall be passed within stipulated time as mentioned above.
