This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to survey and measure the petitioner's property in S.F.No.229/4 to the extent of Hec 0.0.70 and fix the boundary stones to show exact boundaries situated at Mayanoor Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District by considering the petitioner's application dated 19.12.2024.

Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Edin Brough learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

It is seen from the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the typed set of papers, and the additional typed set dated 01.08.2025, that the petitioner acquired the subject property under a registered settlement deed dated 06.05.2009, followed by a rectification deed dated 22.05.2012. Patta for the property has also been issued in the name of the petitioner, bearing Patta No.74. He submitted an application on 19.12.2024 in Application No. 2024/N123/14/002968, seeking survey of the subject property. Since the said application has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents, submits that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 19.12.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
