South has been shifted to Integrated Registration Office, Building, TNAU Nagar, Rajakambiram, Y.Othakadai, Madurai for the purpose of maintenance of existing building. The notification issued by the Deputy Inspector General of Registration (DIG), for shifting of the Office of the Joint Sub Registrar is under challenge in the present writ petition.

Temporary or permanent shifting of an office is a decision taken at

the administrative level and in the present case, the office is temporarily shifted for maintenance purpose, which would not provide a cause for the writ petitioner to institute this petition. Thus, this writ petition is devoid of merit and the same stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
