These writ petitions have been filed challenging the impugned proceedings initiated by the first respondent under Section 87(1) of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, through notices in Na.Ka.No. 3001/2018/Sa.Pa. dated 26.03.2019 and Na.Ka.No.195/2019/Sa.Pa. dated 25.04.2019, issued on the basis of the Enquiry Reports dated 12.09.2018 and 25.01.2019, and consequently seeking a direction to the first respondent to drop all further proceedings initiated against the petitioners.

Though the petitioner has sought the above relief, it is informed that the impugned orders are only show cause notices. It is therefore open to the petitioner to submit her explanation to the said notices.

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit her explanation to the show cause notices before the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the explanation, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a further period of four weeks thereafter.
