This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. The learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.Chandrasekaran is present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT

Both the parties and their respective counsel are present.

The above appeal has been preferred by the Transport Corporation, challenging the order I.D.No.30 of 2021 dated 04.01.2024 on the file of the Additional Labour Court, Coimbatore.

The parties have now unanimously arrived at a settlement and has filed a joint memo of compromise dated 13.09.2025 to that effect, which reads thus:

"The above writ petitioner was filed challenging the award passed in I.D.No.30 of 2021 dated 04.01.2024 on the file of the Additional Labour Court, Coimbatore. The petitioner Management decided to settle the case through Lok Adalat, scheduled on 13.09.2025 by offering employment as fresh entrant (daily paid Driver) to the respondent workmen. The respondent workmen also agreed to join as fresh entrant (daily paid Driver) without any pre-condition. Both the Authorized Officer of the petitioner-Management and the respondent workmen put their signatures below to receive the joint memo of compromise.

Therefore, it is prayed that the settlement may be recorded in the above terms."

This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. The joint memo of compromise dated 13.09.2025 shall form part and parcel of this order. No costs. Connected W.M.P. is closed.
