who takes notice on behalf of respondents. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2 . This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for the following relief:-

i) For issuance of a mandamus of a mandamus directing the

respondents to remove the classification of the lands in Survey Nos.222/1, 225/2, 225/3, 225/4, 225/5, 226/2, 226/3, 226/8, 226/4, 227/2P totaling upto 4 Acre 65 cents situated at Satharai village, Tiruvallur Taluk, Perambakkam Firka, Tiruvallur District as ''Anadheenam'' and enter the petitioner's Principal's name in the Revenue records based on petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025 after due enquiry within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one

Mr.V.K.Rajendran is the owner of the lands (morefully described in para No.2 of this order) having inherited the same from his mother Easwari Kannan; that the said Mr.V.K.Rajendran, executed a General Power of Attorney dated 04.02.2019, thereby, appointing the petitioner as his Power Agent and as such, the petitioner is in complete control and possession of the lands, however, on verification of revenue records, the petitioner came to know that the lands have been wrongly classified as ''Anadheenam'' by the Revenue Officers.

3.1 Thus, it is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondents have arbitrarily classified the lands of the Principal as ''Anadheenam'' without issuing any prior notice and conducting any enquiry or any intimation was given before effecting such classification, which is in violation of principals of natural justice. Hence, the petitioner, being Power Agent of the Principal Mr.V.K.Rajendran made a representation to the respondents for removing the classification of the lands as ''Anadheenam'' dated 02.07.2025 and to enter the Principal's name in the revenue records. However, no action has been taken by the respondents with regard to such representation as on date, hence, the present Writ Petition seeking for aforesaid relief.

The learned Special Government Pleader for respondents would submit that the properties belongs to Wakf Board and classified as Anadheenam, and therefore, the respondents are not in a position to effect any name change, however, a notice has already been issued to the petitioner for an enquiry and after such enquiry, appropriate orders would be passed.

5. Thus, this Court, taking into consideration of the facts and

circumstances of the case, and in view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents, without expressing any opinion with regards to the merits of the contentions putforth either in the Writ Petition or in the representation is of the view that, suffice, it would be to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation in a time bound manner.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the

respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a

period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
