T his writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner’s representations dated 01.02.2023 and 04.07.2023 with regard to Transfer of electricity connection in the light of

the approval granted by the 2 nd respondent vide Memo.No. EE/O.M/ HUR/TA.1/ F.NT(Agi) Pro No. 079-1/20-21 dated 12.03.2021 in respect of property comprised in survey no. 520/2A is situated at Agalakottai Village, Jawalagiri, Denkanikottai (T.K.), Krishnagiri District.

2. It is stated that the subject property is a joint-owner property and subsequent to partition, the same was registered vide Doc. No.1370 of 1988 2/5

W.P. No.27087 of 2023 dated 10.10.1988 in favour of the petitioner. It is further stated that before sub division, electricity service connection stood in the name of Gopal Reddy, who is petitioner’s brother-in-law. After sub division, she submitted an application for transfer of electricity service connection in her favour pertaining to her property. Subsequently, she ventilated her grievances by way of representations on 01.02.2023 and 04.07.2023 seeking for the appropriate relief. But till date, the same has not been considered and hence, this writ petition has been filed.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations, dated 01.02.2023 and 04.07.2023, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials on record.

In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 01.02.2023 and 04.07.2023, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal
