By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The present writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order dated 19.03.2025 passed by the 5th respondent and consequently direct the 4th and 5th respondent to conduct enquiry after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to pass order in respect of patta transfer application dated 19.03.2025.

3 . It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the

property comprised in Natham S.No.46/5B, measuring an extent of 00134 sq.mtr. situated at Sathiyakandanur Village, Kandachipuram Taluk, Villupuram District, was originally owned by petitioner's father viz., Pavadai and he was in possession for more than 50 years. Considering his long and continuous possession, the Revenue Authorities granted Natham Patta in favour of petitioner's father. It is submitted that petitioner's father settled the above mentioned property in favour of petitioner vide Settlement Deed dated 08.03.2025 and ever since, petitioner has been in continuous possession of the subject property.

4.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petiioner that petitioner applied for transfer of patta in his name for the above mentioned property. It is submitted that petitioner came to know his siblings objected for transfer of patta. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5.On this being pointed out, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the application dated 19.03.2025

would be considered and appropriate speaking order would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6.In view thereof, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conduct enquiry on the application dated 19.03.2025 and would pass a speaking order in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, petitioner's siblings and any other interested parties/rival claimants, if any, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
