The Additional Public Prosecutor reported that the prisoner's premature release application was still under consideration on the file of the Government, that the process would take more time, and raised no serious objection to extending the interim bail earlier granted on 18.10.2024 in W.M.P.No.33321 of 2024 in W.P.No.30505 of 2024. The Court extended the interim bail for a further three months, from 19.01.2025 till 18.04.2025, on the same conditions as previously imposed, and disposed of the Miscellaneous Petition.

The present writ miscellaneous petition has been filed to extend ordinary leave

for a period of further three months to the petitioner's son.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the

respondents would submit that the application seeking premature release of the prisoner is under consideration on the file of the Government. The process may

take more time and therefore, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has no serious objection for extension of interim bail already granted by this Court in

W.M.P.No.33321 of 2024 in W.P.No.30505 of 2024 dated 18.10.2024.

In view of the fact that the respondents seeks time to dispose of the premature release application, we are inclined to extend the interim bail for further period

of three months (3) months on the same conditions as imposed in

W.M.P.No.33321 of 2024 in W.P.No.30505 of 2024.

Accordingly, this Miscellaneous Petition stands disposed of. The interim bail

is hereby extended for a further period of three (3) months from 19.01.2025 till

18.04.2025.
