Criminal Original Petitions Nos. 12551 to 12555 of 2018, filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing-II, Madurai and the State (Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Madurai, Cr.No.06 of 2016), sought cancellation of anticipatory bail granted by the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court to fourteen accused (A-7 to A-20) in Crl.O.P.(MD) Nos. 8954 of 2016, 10816 of 2017, 10832 of 2017, 10921 of 2017 and 10707 of 2017. A Division Bench of the Madras High Court (order by S.M. Subramaniam J., bench incl. Mohammed Shaffiq J.) dismissed the petitions on 27-10-2025 on the ground that the final charge sheet had already been filed and an additional charge sheet was going to be filed. Investigating Officer, then also he may appear before him. In the event of

failure, the Investigating Officer is at liberty to initiate all appropriate actions in
