2.The petitioner contends that the order passed by this Court on

14.07.2025 in W.P.(MD)No.4952 of 2023 has been breached. It was filed in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus challenging the order dated 30.12.2022 passed by the District Collector, Madurai District. The writ petition was dismissed. Paragraph No.7 of the order reads as

“7.Since some of the persons who are found eligible for free house site also filed a Writ Petition seeking to quash the very same orders of the District Collector on the ground that free house site patta has not been granted to them. May that as it be, the District Collector, Madurai should revisit in this aspect for the purpose of taking a fresh decision.”

3.This cannot be taken as any binding direction that may give raise to contempt action. It is needless to mention that those found eligible for free house-site patta would be at liberty to file a fresh writ petition on the same cause of action.
