The petitioner is facing a criminal case registered by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department. Departmental disciplinary proceedings are also pending against him. Hence, there is no impediment for the authorities concerned to proceed with the enquiry, if the documents are available. However, an administrative decision is to be taken in this regard and the Court need not issue any direction. However, in the present case, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, submitted a copy of the order passed by the District Collector, Trichi, dated 04.11.2024, wherein, the District Collector has reviewed the order of suspension and extended the suspension in the public interest, since the petitioner is facing a criminal case registered by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Department.

Since the order of suspension has been reviewed, the respondents have not committed any willful disobedience of the orders of this Court.
