2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the affidavit of the

respondents was filed and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder:

15.I respectfully submit that after completion of elaborate and detailed investigation, I have filed a Final Report before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai on 18.06.2025 through e-filing vide No. LTN20220002538C202500085, and the same was yet to be taken on file.

3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned XVII Judicial

Magistrate, Saidapet, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police in Crime No.12 of 2022, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

4.With the above directions, this contempt petition is closed.
