The present Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Original Application filed by the petitioner in O.A.No.28/2024 regarding Arulmigu Kallazhagar Chithirai festival chithra pournami Mandagapadi at New Survey No.96/4, Vandiyur 2 nd Bit Village, Madurai.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that an Original Application in O.A.No.28/2024 was filed before the first respondent under Section 63(e) of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act for recognition of the petitioner's rights to conduct Chithra Pournami Mandagapadi as per the petitioner's turn for the year 2024 and the same is pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent that the Original Application would be disposed of within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, which was accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view of the same and taking into consideration the limited relief

herein to dispose of the Original Application in O.A.No.28/2024, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties/stake holders, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the application and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the application on its own merits and in

accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There
