Mudukkankulam Branch has joined as a member under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojan (PMJJBY) Scheme, which was announced by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in the year 2015 for the persons, who are in age group of 18 to 50 years. On 19.05.2017, the petitioner's father died. The petitioner by referring the subscription paid by his father under the Scheme has approached the respondent Bank to disburse the amount as per the scheme. The application of the petitioner was processed and a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- has also been credited to the petitioner's father's account. Thereafter, during the audit made by the Life Insurance Corporation of India, they found that the age of the petitioner's father was 52 years at the time of his enrolment in the Scheme. Therefore, he is not eligible under the scheme and a direction was issued to the second respondent Bank to freeze the petitioner's father's account and it was freezed. According to the petitioner, the age of the petitioner's father was 49 at the time of enrolment in the Scheme. The petitioner by relying upon the Horoscope of the petitioner's father that the date of birth of the petitioner's father is 15.01.1966 has approached this Court in the
