This writ petition has been filed challenging the o rder passed

by the first respondent in Ref.No.E/2140/2023 dated 18.01.2024.

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as against the impugned order, appeal dated 22.01.2024 has been filed and it is pending on the file of the second respondent.

Though the writ petition has been filed challenging the order of the first respondent dated 18.01.2024 thereby imposing punishment of reduction in rank as Junior Assistant cum Typist, the learned Senior Counsel restricted the prayer of the writ petition to dispose of the above said appeal by the appellate authority.

Therefore, the second respondent, being the appellate authority, is directed to dispose of the above appeal dated 22.01.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
