This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus

directing the respondents to admit the petitioner in the 7^th semester of B.A. LL.B., in the upcoming academic year and consequently allow the petitioner to pursue his studies irrespective of the pendency of the criminal case against him.

A memo dated 26.03.2024 is filed by the 1^st respondent,

wherein at paragraph No.5 it has been stated as follows:-

“ It is respectfully submitted that since all the bail conditions of the petitioner herein, have been relaxed, the petitioner herein, Thiru.U.Surya will be admitted in the 7^th Semester of 5 year B.A., LL.B., Law Course in the Government Law College, Chengalpattu in the upcoming academic year 20242025 as prayed for by him.”
