This writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus
seeking seeking a direction against the respondents viz., Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board and more particularly the Area Engineer, Zone – 14, Kottivakkam, to stop the overflowing of sewage of water in Rajeshwari Nagar Main Road, Ullagaram, Chennai – 600 091 and also to provide potable water to the residents of Rajeswari Nagar.
a recurrence problem of the residents, since if there is heavy rain fall, the sewage water overflowed and comes into the road and the residents are not able to walk across. It has been stated that the rain fall had occurred, at that time the writ petition was filed and a similar request had been made to the Sewerage Board.
