This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to pay the pension benefits to one Kandasamy who is the husband of the deceased first petitioner, along with arrears as per the proceedings No.KA1/1993/2017 dated 24.05.2017 issued by the second respondent.

Mr.M.Arun, the learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that

in view of the order passed by the second respondent in proceedings No.KA1/1993/2017 dated 24.05.2017, the first respondent has recommended the fourth respondent to disburse the family pension to the petitioners. However, the same has not done so far.

Mr.S.Arumugam, the learned Government Advocate, submitted

that this Court may direct the fourth respondent to pass orders as per the proceedings dated 24.05.2017 and the fourth respondent will pass orders accordingly.

Without going into merits of the case, the fourth respondent is

directed to consider the case of the petitioners and pass suitable orders as per the proceedings issued by the second respondent in proceedings No.KA1/1993/2017 dated 24.05.2017, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed. No costs.
