Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 5 th respondent to initiate the proceedings to correct the Field Map Sketch of Survey No.50B/5 at Irumbuliyr Village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District on the basis of the order passed by the 3 rd respondent in Na.Ka.A7/0096/2024 dated 09.02.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage

of admission itself.

The grievance of the petitioner is that there is a mistake in the field

map sketch of S.No.50B/5, in this regard, the petitioner had made representation to the respondents 1 to 4 on 12.01.2024, based on the representation the 3^rd respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.A7/0096/2024 dated 09.02.2024 directed the 5^th respondent to enquire into the matter and forward a report to the DRO/2^nd respondent herein. However, no orders have been passed, hence the present petition.

The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents

submit that pursuant to the proceedings of the 3^rd respondent, the 5^th respondent will conduct an enquiry and forward the report to the 2^nd respondent, as the 2^nd respondent is the competent person to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special

Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 5 and perused the materials available on record.

In such view of the matter, the fifth respondent is hereby directed to

conduct an enquiry with a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order , after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, and forward the report to the 2 nd respondent. In turn, the 2 nd respondent is directed to pass orders based on the report of the Tahsildar/5 th respondent within a period of one month thereon.
