(4134.102 sq.ft.) to 4 ares 33 sq. mtrs. (4663.15 sq.ft.) as shown in the FMB sketch and as per the petitioner's appeal dated 17.05.2024.

This petition has been filed seeking the 2nd respondent to correct forthwith the area of the petitioner's property at No.1/38A, Aruundale Beach Road, 3rd Street, Kalakshetra Colony, Besant Nagar, Chennai-600 090 in Ward No.1, Tiruvanmiyur Town, Velachery Taluk, in the permanent land register from 3 ares 85 sq.mtrs. (4134.102 sq.ft.) to 4 ares 33 sq. mtrs. (4663.15 sq.ft.) as shown in the FMB sketch and as per the petitioner's appeal dated 17.05.2024.

It is stated by the Additional Government Pleader appearing

for the respondents 1 to 3 that as far as the mistake is concerned, it is not in dispute and the same will be set right, after the receipt of the report from the Additional Surveyor of Settlement and orders will be passed in this case within a period of one week, on instruction and his statement is recorded.

Recording the statement of the Additional Government Pleader, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent namely, The Revenue Divisional Officer, Registrar to pass an order to correct the mistakes in the patta as per the FMB sketch and pass order in the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 17.05.2024.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
