The Letters Patent Appeal is filed against the order made in Cont. P.No.2190 of 2023 dated 29.11.2023. The contempt petition had been instituted to punish the respondents for their willfull disobedience of the order of this Court dated 26.04.2023 passed in W.P.No.12825 of 2023.

another Sri Mahaliamman Temple, the dispute existed between two groups. The report filed by the Inspector of Police, narrating the events took place during the peace meet held on 22.06.2023 and 23.06.2023, was considered by the learned Single Judge and a finding was made that it is not a matter of excommunicating a person for the reasons, but it is a power fight between two groups. Thus, the contempt petition was closed.
