Today, the matter has been listed under the caption “for being spoken to”, as the Registry has

pointed out that this Court had directed the Registrar (Judl.), Madras High Court to transmit

the amount that has been deposited by the 17^th defendant to the appropriate Sub Court at Kumbakonam and had also pointed out that since, the amount has been deposited in the name

of the Registrar (General), it is only the Registrar (General) who could transfer the same.

In such view of the matter in the order dated 08.01.2025 in line 4 of paragraph No.4, the

word “Registrar (Judl.) shall be deleted and replace the same with “Registrar (General).

It has been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the plaintiff that the judgment

and decree passed by this Court in the instant suit has been taken up on an appeal in

O.S.A.No.9 of 2025.

In such view of the matter, the direction issued by this Court on 08.01.2025 shall be carried

out after the disposal of the said Intra Court Appeal.
