Civil Suits filed under Order VII Rule 1 O.S. Rules and Order XXXVII Rule 1 and 2 C.P.C., seeking for the following reliefs:

i. to pay to the plaintiff a sum of Rs.1,07,90,000/- in each suit;

ii.to pay to the Plaintiff interest @ 2% per month, on the said sum of Rs.49,90,000/- from this date onwards till the date of realization in each suit;

iii. to pay to the plaintiff the costs of the suits; and

iv. to grant such further of other reliefs as may be deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

COMMON JUDGMENT

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel

appearing on either side present and represented that the matter has already been amicably settled between the parties before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre (TNMCC) attached to High Court, Madras. Mediation was conducted and Joint Memorandum of Compromise dated 04.12.2025 was sent along with the mediation report dated 12.12.2025, which were produced before this Court.

This Court perused the Joint Memorandum of Compromise. The parties have amicably settled the matter between themselves. Therefore, this Court decreed the Civil Suits in C.S.Nos.220 and 221 of 2022 in terms of Joint Compromise arrived at between the parties in Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to High Court, Madras. The common Joint Compromise Memo, dated 04.12.2025 shall form part of the decree in C.S. Nos.220 and 221 of 2022.

3. Accordingly, the Civil Suits stand disposed of in terms of joint compromise memo. No costs. The Registry is directed to refund the entire court fee paid by the plaintiff in both the suits. Consequently, connected applications are closed.
