writ petition was taken up for hearing on 06.11.2023 and 20.11.2023. However, considering the issue involved in this writ petition, this Court suo motu impleaded the Inspector of Police, Pettai Police Station, Tirunelveli, as a party to this writ petition and ascertain the present condition of the criminal case, which was registered against the Assistant Professor for misbehaving with the student of the University. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner.
criminal case registered against the Assistant Professor has been charge sheeted and now, it is pending for trial, before the Additional Mahila Court, Tirunelveli in C.C.No.1449 of 2022. He further submits that on 07.12.2023, four witnesses, namely, P.W.1 to P.W.4 were examined.
