The learned counsel for the petitioner has approached this Court with grievance that the information which have been sought under the Right to Information Act was not furnished to him. The petitioner has raised the two queries as follows:
(i) Copies of authenticated records received from the Director of Vigilance and Anti-corruption and from other officers to substantiate the enquiry in note dated 18.12.2013 that no vigilance enquiry is pending against Mr.Rameshram Mishra IAS ; and
(ii) Copy of the note file written based on his letter dated 15.05.2015.
query was rejected by referring that the IAS Officer is retired and as per Section 8(1)(j) of the RTI Act, 2005 as the disclosure of such information would cause unwarranted invasion of the privacy of the individual.
