Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records pertaining to the order of the 3rd respondent in N.K.4333/2012/A, dated 10.05.2013, cancelling the Patta No.2149 bearing survey number 208/3 and Patta No.2150 bearing S.No.199/2A2 issued to the petitioner and quash the same as illegal and without jurisdiction, consequently direct the fourth respondent to restore the Patta No.2149 bearing survey number 208/3 and Patta No.2150 bearing S.No.199/2A2 in Injambakkam Village, Sholinganallur Village, Kancheepuram District.

ORDER
The grievance of the petitioner is that the Patta that originally stood in his name
was cancelled by the Tahsildar, without notice to the petitioner. The petitioner, therefore preferred an appeal to the District Collector, who transferred the matter

to the District Revenue Officer concerned.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the appeal is now pending before the District Revenue Officer, Chennai.
3.In view of the above submission, the District Revenue Officer, Chennai is required to expedite the disposal of the appeal and at any date dispose it off not later then four (4) weeks from today.
4.This Writ Petition stands closed accordingly. No Costs.
5.The Registry is directed to mark a copy of the order to the District Revenue Officer, Chennai.
