The writ petition is filed for issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct 1^st

and 2^nd respondents to remove the encroachment and to restore the public

road as maintained in the revenue record based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.03.2023 and for consequential orders.

Today, when the matter is taken up, learned State Government

Pleader produced a copy of the communication dated nil addressed to him by the Tahsildar, Thiruvannamalai and drew the attention of this Court to the last paragraph of the said communication, which reads as follows:

From the above communication of the Tahsildar,

Thiruvannamalai, it is seen that steps have been taken and the construction activities have been stopped. Hence, we are of the view that no further orders are required in the Writ Petition.

We expect the Inspector General of Registration and other Officials concerned to take steps to protect the Government lands by uploading the details of the Government lands and also the QR code in the Department's website, to enable the public to have knowledge about the lands which they intend to purchase, in order to avoid encroachments and also not getting themselves caught in unnecessary litigations.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed . No costs.
