Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019 by way of Monday Petition and to pay compensation amount for the petitioner's Agriculotural Patta Land in Sy.No.21/3A in “Kadalkudi Firka” measuring an extent of 4.05 acres as per the compensation fixed by the Government for Kadalkudi Firka, Thoothukudi District.

2.The petitioner is an agriculturist. She had insured her crops. She suffered loss. She made claim. The fifth respondent appears to have made an error while submitting the claims. The fifth respondent has now informed the petitioner vide letter dated 13.12.2022 that only a sum of Rs.12,427/- has been received towards the petitioner's account. The fifth respondent is directed to pay the said amount to the petitioner. The fifth respondent is also directed to send a revised proposal to the third respondent. The third respondent shall process the same and take further action on merits and in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
