PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the order passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.1584/2009/A3 dated 16.09.2011 which was published in Tamilnadu Government Gazette (extraordinary) Part IV Section 2 dated 15.09.2011 in so far as the petitioner is concerned and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary, unenforceable.
ORDER
The writ petition has been filed challenging the removal of Panchayat President invoking Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Town Panchayat Act. Since the term of the Panchayat President has expired, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
