This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to register the sale deed dated 15.03.2021 executed by the petitioner and presented for registration on 25.02.2022 in the third respondent office within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal. Since, no adverse order is passed against the fourth respondent, notice on fourth respondent is dispensed with.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in Old S.No.324/2, New S.No.324/2E, No.132, measuring an extent of 2 acres, situated at Meenamballur Village, Thirukuvalai Taluk. Thereafter, the petitioner decided to sell the above said property to one Raju and executed a sale deed dated 15.03.2021 and presented the same for registration before the third respondent on 25.02.2022. However, the said document was not entertained by the third respondent for registration. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for the above relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the third respondent to consider the Sale Deed dated 15.03.2021, which was executed by the petitioner and presented for registration and pass orders, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, submits that the Sale Deed dated 15.03.2021, will be considered by the respondents 1 to 3, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to entertain the document presented by the petitioner dated 15.03.2021, if it is otherwise in order, and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on payment of requisite Stamp duty and Registration Charges.

With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
