PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of the 1^st respondent dated 16.03.2013 in Lr.No.EE/O&M/Guindy/ATO/F.MRT/D.909/2013 rejecting the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 14.03.2013 which was filed challenging the letter of the 2^nd respondent dated 01.03.2013 and 06.03.2013 in Lr.No.AEE/O&M/Alandur/FLTCT/D 369/2013 and 376 of 2013 and quash the same and direct the respondent not to disconnect the electricity service connection to the petitioner premises in LT CT Service A/c No.242/071/62, Tariff V.

Mr.K.Sukumaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that the petitioner is having a statutory remedy of filing an appeal before the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. He also made an endorsement to that effect.

2.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the endorsement made by him, this writ petition stands disposed of, permitting the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, within a period of four weeks. If any appeal is filed by the petitioner within a time frame, the respondents shall entertain the same and pass orders in accordance with law. Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
