The petition was filed by the father of the minor child seeking guardianship and custody.

Upon reference to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation

Centre, parties reached a settlement and executed a joint memo of compromise dated 09.12.2022. The report from the Mediation Centre annexing the joint memo of compromise is on record. On perusal, the joint memo of compromise is signed by the petitioner and the respondent and their respective counsel. The joint memo of compromise provides for visitation rights, right to have access to the child during the long leave and term leave, maintenance, payment of school fees by the petitioner and an agreement to withdraw the unilateral divorce petition and convert the same into a petition for divorce by mutual consent.

There is no impediment to the disposal of this petition in terms of
