This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second and third respondents to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2019 by virtue of A Register dated 02.11.2004 on the file of the fourth respondent within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

While pending the Writ Petition, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur initiated proceedings to conduct enquiry in N.KA.No.4282/2019/E1. The said Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur called for report from the fourth respondent herein and the fourth respondent submitted report dated 14.01.2020 in Ref.No.1092/2019/A6. On the strength of the report, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur conducted enquiry on 21.02.2020. Though the petitioner appeared, he failed to submit any relevant documents to his contentions relating to title of the property.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent and proceed with the enquiry, after giving opportunity of hearing to them and then pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
