This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 27.08.2021 filed by the petitioners on merits in accordance with law.

Heard Mr.P.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

The petitioners filed an appeal before the second respondent against the mutation of revenue records in favour of the respondents 4 to 9 herein. However, it was dismissed by an order dated 12.07.2021 by the second respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners filed revision before the first respondent and it is pending without any Government order.

Considering the same, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioners and the respondents 4 to 9 herein on the revision filed by the petitioners, after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, dispose the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
