The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of the petition for restitution of Conjugal rights filed by the respondent / husband in IDOP.No. 145 of 2019 from the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputur to the Principal District and Sessions Court, Madurai.

It is also averred in the petition that the respondent / husband is also working at Madurai as a Regional Manager of a Pharmaceutical Company.

The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that since the respondent / husband has sought for Restitution of Conjugal Rights there is a possibility of settlement and seeks reference to Mediation.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner / wife has already taken steps for filing a petition for divorce. In view of the said submission, I do not see any reason to refer the matter to Mediation.

Considering the nature of the proceeding and the fact that the wife is a resident of Madurai, the IDOP.No.145 of 2019 is withdrawn from the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputur and transferred to the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Madurai, to be heard and disposed of in accordance with law. Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputur is directed to transmit the papers to the file of the Principal District and Sessions Court, Madurai,
